Terms of service
Last updated: 27 September 2026
In short: To-inbox sends what you share to your own inbox. Use the app fairly, no spam or abuse. To-inbox Pro is a one-time purchase via Google Play. The app is provided as is, made with care but without guarantees.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to the Android app To-inbox and the website to-inbox.app, made by Dennis Smit ("the developer"). By using the app, you agree to these terms. How the app handles your data is described in the privacy policy.
2. What the app does
To-inbox sends links, notes, photos, files and reminders that you share or create as email from your own Gmail account to the address you choose. The app has no server of its own: messages go straight from your device to Gmail.
3. Fair use
You are responsible for what you send with the app. Do not use To-inbox for spam, bulk email, misleading or unlawful content, and do not set recipients without their permission. Also follow Google's terms, including those of Gmail.
4. Your Google account
To send email, the app uses Google services (Gmail and Sign in with Google). Google's terms and privacy policy apply to these. You can revoke To-inbox's access to your account at any time via myaccount.google.com.
5. To-inbox Pro and donations
To-inbox is free to use. To-inbox Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play and the purchase is linked to your Google account, so you can restore it on a new phone. Google Play's terms and refund policy apply to payments and refunds. Donations are voluntary and do not unlock extra features.
6. Availability
The app is made and maintained with care, but is provided as is. The developer cannot guarantee that the app always works without errors, among other things because sending depends on your internet connection and on Google services. Features may be changed, improved or replaced.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for damage resulting from use of the app, such as a message that arrives late or not at all. So do not use To-inbox as the only place for important or time-critical information. Your statutory consumer rights always remain in force.
8. Name, logo and app
The name To-inbox, the logo, the app and the website belong to the developer. You may use the app, but not copy, resell or distribute modified versions of it.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated when the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest change. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Dutch law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live. Questions? Get in touch through the contact form.
