• Inloggen met Google. Kies je hiervoor, dan vraagt de app alleen toestemming om namens jou e-mail te versturen (Gmail-machtiging gmail.send). De app kan daarmee geen e-mails lezen, verwijderen of beheren. De toegang wordt door Google op je toestel beheerd en alleen gebruikt om de berichten te versturen die jij zelf deelt of maakt.
• Gmail-adres en app-wachtwoord. Kies je voor een app-wachtwoord, dan worden je adres en dat wachtwoord alleen op je toestel opgeslagen. Het wachtwoord wordt versleuteld met een sleutel in de Android Keystore en alleen gebruikt om in te loggen bij de mailserver van Gmail.
• Wat je deelt of typt. Links, tekst, foto's, video's, bestanden en herinneringen worden als e-mail naar het door jou ingestelde adres verstuurd. Tijdelijke kopieën van bijlagen worden na verzending van je toestel verwijderd.
• Laatst verstuurd. De app bewaart op je toestel een kort overzicht van de laatste drie verstuurde items, zodat je ze snel terugvindt.
• Foto's bij herinneringen. Voeg je een foto toe, dan kies je die zelf via de bestandskiezer van Android. De app krijgt alleen toegang tot die ene foto.
• Back-upbestand. Maak je een back-up, dan worden je Gmail-adres, ontvanger, labels en voorkeuren opgeslagen in een bestand op een plek die jij kiest. Je wachtwoord zit er niet in.
• Aankopen. Koop je To-inbox Pro of doe je een donatie, dan handelt Google Play de betaling af. De app bewaart alleen op je toestel of Pro is ontgrendeld, en controleert dat bij Google Play. Betaalgegevens ziet of bewaart de app niet.
• Instellingen. Zoals ontvanger, onderwerp-prefix, labels, taal en thema. Deze blijven op je toestel.

• Sign in with Google. If you choose this, the app only requests permission to send email on your behalf (Gmail scope gmail.send). It cannot read, delete or manage your email. Access is managed by Google on your device and used only to send the messages you share or create.
• Gmail address and app password. If you choose an app password, your address and that password are stored only on your device. The password is encrypted with a key in the Android Keystore and used only to sign in to Gmail's mail server.
• What you share or type. Links, text, photos, videos, files and reminders are sent as email to the address you set. Temporary copies of attachments are deleted from your device after sending.
• Recently sent. The app keeps a short list of the last three sent items on your device so you can find them quickly.
• Photos with reminders. If you add a photo, you pick it yourself through Android's file picker. The app only gets access to that one photo.
• Backup file. If you make a backup, your Gmail address, recipient, labels and preferences are saved to a file in a location you choose. Your password is not included.
• Purchases. If you buy To-inbox Pro or make a donation, Google Play handles the payment. The app only stores on your device whether Pro is unlocked, and checks this with Google Play. The app never sees or stores payment details.
• Settings. Such as recipient, subject prefix, labels, language and theme. These stay on your device.

• Ajustes. Como el destinatario, el prefijo del asunto, las etiquetas, el idioma y el tema. Se quedan en tu dispositivo.

• De website die je deelt. Voor een linkvoorbeeld haalt de app titel, beschrijving en afbeelding op van die website, zoals je browser dat ook doet.
• Contactformulier op deze website. Stuur je een bericht via het contactformulier, dan worden je naam, e-mailadres en bericht door de eigen webserver van To-inbox per e-mail aan de ontwikkelaar bezorgd. Er komt geen externe dienst aan te pas en berichten worden niet in een database opgeslagen. De gegevens worden alleen gebruikt om je vraag te beantwoorden. Zoals elke webserver houdt de server tijdelijk technische logbestanden bij (zoals IP-adres en tijdstip) voor beveiliging.
• WordPress mShots (Automattic). Staat de optie Website-screenshots aan en heeft een website geen eigen afbeelding, dan vraagt de app een screenshot op bij mShots. Daarbij wordt alleen het webadres doorgegeven. Zie het privacybeleid van Automattic.

• Google (Gmail and Google sign-in). Your emails are sent through the Gmail API or Gmail's secure mail server and arrive in your own mailbox. Google's privacy policy applies.
• Google Play (payments). To-inbox Pro purchases and donations are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. Google's privacy policy applies.
• The website you share. For a link preview the app fetches the page's title, description and image, just like your browser would.
• Contact form on this website. If you send a message through the contact form, your name, email address and message are delivered to the developer by email by To-inbox's own web server. No external service is involved and messages are not stored in a database. The data is used only to answer your question. Like any web server, it temporarily keeps technical log files (such as IP address and time) for security.
• WordPress mShots (Automattic). If the Website screenshots option is on and a page has no image of its own, the app requests a screenshot from mShots. Only the web address is passed on. See Automattic's privacy policy.
